Testing Anxiety
Many college students and performers experience “test anxiety” or “performance anxiety.” For some, despite massive preparation, it can all “go out the window,” once the person is faced with the situation. This can be debilitating, not to mention frustrating and having a negative impact on one’s confidence. There are simple strategies that anyone can learn and apply, if you are motivated. While there are many ways of approaching the stressful situation, i.e., testing or performing that can help immensely, once must really begin their “practice” well ahead of the day of the test or performance.
